Synth Wall

As a decade-long pianist and musician, I’ve always been intrigued by unique instruments. When creating a synthesiser for my Audio Development module, I took inspiration from the Theremin and attempted a synth where, rather than keys, the mouse’s position controls the key and volume played.

With the audio manipulation done in MetaSounds and user interface handled by Widget Blueprints, this Unreal Engine 5 synth aims to be as versatile and customisable as possible without sacrificing accessibility. It is fully controllable with the mouse and can create a great variety of sounds, and its UI was designed with great care.

Type of employment sought
