I am interested in the development and impact of supportive interventions tailored for neurodivergent individuals. My project explored the connection between interpersonal relationships, close emotional bonds and the emotional intelligence in both neurodivergent and neurotypical populations. My research highlights the vital role of meaningful support networks in enhancing emotional intelligence and overall quality of life, particularly for neurodivergent individuals.

In a society that increasingly recognises the diversity of processing, perceiving and managing emotions, my research contributes to understanding the unique emotional and social needs of neurodivergent populations, enhancing the necessary steps of promoting a more inclusive and supportive environment.
