How convictions and Prison education affect job prospects

I am Francesca Sennett, my work is driven by a passion for rehabilitation, social justice and reducing reoffending through meaningful employment. My final-year research project explored how disclosing a criminal conviction and completing prison education influences job opportunities post-release. The findings revealed that stigma still overshadows rehabilitation, reinforcing my commitment to driving policy change and inclusive hiring practices. With a strong academic background and practical leadership experience, I aim to build a career focused on creating fairer systems for ex-offenders and supporting their successful reintegration into society.
