This project focuses on women who have endometriosis and adenomyosis, specifically in line with body image and the impact body image has on these individuals in all aspects of their lives. The study consisted of 304 participants’ answers to the open questionnaire and Microsoft Teams interviews. This study uses a thematic analysis approach to explore how deep body image is rooted and affected by both gynaecological conditions. I am a 23-year-old mother of 2 suffering from both conditions myself over the last 12 years with people ignoring the symptoms and concerns I had.
