Initial Prototype Circuit
Hi, I am a final-year Computer Science student at the University of Staffordshire. My project explored how a real-time IoT system can aid in improving plant care in a domestic environment. The system was designed with a three-layer architecture and created as a physical embedded system using a ESP32 microcontroller and environmental sensors. It translates raw atmospheric, capacitive, and colour spectrum data into qualitative feedback for users, displaying real-time plant data on both an LCD screen and a remote dashboard, as well as enabling email alerts.
