InfoGuard: Gamified Phishing Awareness Training Platform

I am Omar Bashir, a final-year cybersecurity student at the University of Staffordshire London, passionate about making cybersecurity education accessible to everyone. My project, InfoGuard, is a browser-based gamified phishing awareness platform that simulates realistic social media direct message attacks. Players classify messages as Safe, Suspicious, or Phishing across 10 rounds, receiving instant educational feedback. Designed with primary and secondary school students in mind, InfoGuard uses game mechanics — scoring, hints, and timed rounds — to teach digital safety skills in an engaging, zero-install format. The goal is to help the younger generation stay safe online before threats reach them.
