Gameplay Programmer

I am a game developer focused on creating fun games with scalable code.

My project, KnockOut, is a fast-paced, top-down arena brawler built using Unity Netcode for GameObjects. Players face off in a vibrant, physics-based environment on a hexagonal grid that systematically falls away, forcing intense close-quarters combat.

To maintain a dynamic flow, KnockOut utilised a unique “catch-up” mechanic. Defeated players are entered into a Power-Up phase where they select game-changing abilities to completely alter their playstyle and level the playing field for the next round. The game is driven by highly modular Strategy and Observer design patterns.
