Annalise Friend is a third‑year BA (Hons) Surface Pattern and Textile Design student with a strong passion for handmade design and a keen interest in trend and colour forecasting. Her practice focuses on expressive surface pattern, drawing on painterly approaches to colour and mark‑making to create contemporary design outcomes.

Bobbles and Blooms is a surface pattern collection. A vibrant, nature‑inspired homeware collection featuring painterly floral patterns, expressive colour, and hand‑painted, screen‑printing techniques. Most deigns were made using mark making tools such as cotton balls to create a new innovative way of making.
