Ange worked in The Potteries for over thirty-five years as a designer and manager for Wedgwood and more recently as a freelance design consultant. Ange has been able to set about exploring other, more personalised, aspects of her own creativity, and she has discovered a passion for hands-on ceramic making. Here, she has taken inspiration from traditional Japanese studio practices that have subsequently informed her own approaches to working.

Ange produces collections of gestural expressions in clay, where the touch of the human hand has worked in dialogue with material.
