This Final Project was a memorial for my Ancestors and their memories that have lived on through my Grandparents. These pieces were to dedicate their memory from beyond a picture to a familiar surface and to allow an audience to connect their own history and memories with these pieces of work to create a sense of familiarity. To portray the memories and create a connection I looked into comfort through materials find my own comfort within rough surfaced blankets that created a home feel within certain pieces portrayed.
