3D GPU-Accelerated Cloth Simulation

Hi I’m Nathan, I enjoy physics programming and engine level development.  This project is 3D GPU-accelerated cloth simulation created from scratch within my self-built physics engine. The cloth simulation utilises DirectX11 HLSL compute shaders to enable thousands of particle and spring computations to occur in parallel, allowing high definition cloth to be simulated whilst maintaining interactive performance. The simulation features realistic physical behaviours such as, wind impulses, self-collision, collision to other collider primitives (spheres, OBBs and planes), and configurable material properties such as stiffness, resolution – all of which are rendered in real time.
