U&I - User Interface Platforming

I enjoy using Unreal Engine blueprints to see what can be done within limitations, whilst also improving my own skills.

I created this prototype during my Advanced Prototyping module in the Computer Games Design Masters at the University of Staffordshire, within a 9-week time span.

I wanted to explore the player’s relationship to UI elements, as well as explore the possibility of using them as platforms.

This project helped me explore the difference between World and Screen Space Widgets, how the UI re-adjusts between in-engine and builds, and a variety of unique Actor Blueprint concepts.
