I am a 4th-year student in my integrated masters year of an MSci in Forensic Investigation. As part of my final year, I had to complete a 3-month placement, which led to me carrying out research for Staffordshire Police into a new application they were about to implement called TreadMatch. This application is currently only used by a few police forces and changes the process for recovering and processing footwear impressions from custody.

Type of employment sought
I am looking at going into anything forensic-related. My dream job is to be a CSI, but I am aware that this is a hard role to get into especially straight from University. Other job areas that I am looking into include evidence/submission roles, procurement officer & research-based roles.
