Architecture at The University Of Staffordshire has always concerned itself with the local environment and aims to use Stoke as a canvas for architectural development and regeneration. My project aims to sustainably and artistically regenerate the heart of local town Longton, in close collaboration with community charity Urban Wilderness. Working with the organisation, I have designed a masterplan aside the train station involving their headquarters, green space and commercial units. The goal of this design was to improve the local town through community space, independent business and arts based redevelopments. A strong Emotional and experiential element was imperative.
