I’m Moss Biddiscombe, a third year Concept Art bachelors student, planning on doing a masters degree in the same field.

I specialize in creature, environment and character art.

For this project I worked on designing an alien, yet familiar feeling, creature, that inhabits a salt-flat-like environment.

My design is of an herbivorous hopping creature, with similarities to earth amphibians and reptiles, that gets the majority of it’s fresh water intake from eating succulents, and the rest from filtering the salt water it drinks. Whilst using the high saline concentrate it extracts, to make itself toxic to predators.
