Hi, I’m Isabelle Barber,  a third year Surface Pattern and Textile design student who specialises mainly in digital pattern design. For my final project I have decided to create an interior collection heavily based around traditional pattern design and nautical mythology.  My collection reimagines traditional French toile through maritime-inspired narratives and sea folklore. Fine-line illustrations of ships, tides, and nautical scenes create immersive interiors that invite closer inspection. Developed digitally with a considered palette, the designs reflect the quiet luxury of traditional toile through a contemporary, expressive aesthetic.
