I’m a concept artist specialized in character design. For my final year project, I chose to bring my love and knowledge for my own culture to a new level and create redesigns of some of the prominent characters of Ukrainian mythology. This project is aimed for animation production for young-adult audience, my goal was to create original and mature design that would authentically represent Ukrainian culture. The narrative is set in 17th century which is why I researched into the Ukrainian clothing of that era so that my design cat set itself apart from stereotypes.
