Serenflora: The Painted Bloom
I am Rebecca Meanwell, a floral artist and designer who grew up in the beautiful countryside of Devon. In my project, Serenflora: The Painted Bloom I have experimented with large-scale screen printing and painting with Procion dye, watercolour, gouache, pastels and emulsion. I have enjoyed using bold colours and a serendipitous approach involving initial experimentation and testing with a new medium to create my finished, large-scale, wallpapers and fabrics. Through happy accidents and learning along the way, I have loved creating a sense of depth, mystery and bold presence in my designs. This stunning floral collection is for interiors.
