Public Health Responses: Ebola Epidemic vs COVID-19 Pandemic
Hi, I’m Hayden Webster, a Health and Social Care student with a strong interest in public health and epidemiology. I am particularly interested in how healthcare systems respond to infectious disease outbreaks and the impact of public health interventions on communities. My project explores the public health responses and vaccination strategies used during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ebola outbreak between 2013 and 2016. Through comparative analysis, the project examines differences in responses between developed and developing regions, highlighting key challenges, lessons learned, and the importance of preparedness, international collaboration, and effective vaccination strategies in managing future global health emergencies.
