PolyKnight | A Combat Driven Souls-Like
I have a deep passion for combat games and Souls-likes, which inspired me to develop a modular combat system in Unreal Engine 5. It features stamina management, i-frames, perfect blocks, guard breaks, AI with passive, patrol, and attack states, and a two-phase boss fight.
I focused heavily on gameplay feel—integrating screen shake, responsive controls, VFX/SFX, hit stop, and knockback.
This system lays the foundation for a full game and can be expanded upon further.
Inspired by fantasy and real-world environments, I aim to build living, rewarding worlds, and I thrive in collaborative teams that push creative and technical boundaries.
