Nostalgia and the feelings of yearning for your inner child. I created this collection by looking inward at my own experiences of childhood and womanhood. My project explores early 2000s trends, using soft silhouettes and sentimental details to evoke memory and emotion. Drawing inspiration from personal archives and pop culture, my collection captures the beauty and complexity of girlhood. Furthermore, reinforcing the cyclicality of womanhood and shared female experiences that brings us together from all walks of life. Through this work my goal was to create garments that felt both familiar and transformative, creating new lines between past and present
