This project explores Briony Eyre’s painting practice through the combination of bold neon tones and neutral colours. It investigates how expressive two-dimensional artwork can be transformed into a three-dimensional object, focusing on the relationship between surface, material, and function. Studio Cart 01 sits within a collection of functional furniture pieces designed for studio environments and creative practitioners. Informed by her painting practice, the cart combines bold colour with an experimental layering process using paper to create abstract textures. It functions as a mobile storage unit and as a source of inspiration, helping to organise the chaos of studio life
