Hi, I’m Grace, a 2D illustrator and Stopmotion fabricator and this body of work is my pitch materials for my third year project :Crystal Clear.
Crystal Clear is a story of maternal love, grief and rememberance through craft.
After losing the opal from her mothers favourite necklace, Min-ha decides to sell her mothers jewellery collection after her passing. Di, the jeweller who received these pieces, finds the lost gem and is able to see different stages of Min-ha’s life through its refractions. Learning of Min-ha’s loss, she decided to recraft her mothers necklace, hoping to reunite mother and daughter.
