Manuscriptwriter - Natural-Language Narrative Scripting for Game Writers

Manuscriptwriter is an interpreted narrative scripting framework which uses reflection in C# to define sentences that can be used to call functions within provided “libraries”. This allows developers to define custom logic for the framework that works within their game.

The Unity Plugin comes with a few default features for dialogue, as an example, with plans to continue development in future to expand the functionality available to provide a larger toolkit for solo writers without programming experience.

Use of attributes allows for flexibility in how sentences are worded, and means the system could be translated for use in other languages.
