Latency-Aware Predictive Optimisation for Real-Time Edge Based Behaviour

B.Sc. Computer-Science student specialising in software engineering, distributed systems, DevOps, cybersecurity, and intelligent application development. My Final-Year-Project, LAPSE-B (Latency-Aware Predictive Optimisation for Real-Time Edge-Based Behaviour Analysis), introduces a novel adaptive inference scheduling framework for real-time edge AI systems operating under strict latency and computational constraints. Independently designed and implemented from the ground up in Python, the system dynamically predicts workload pressure and switches inference strategies in real time to balance latency, throughput, and accuracy. Evaluated using the WISDM human activity recognition dataset, LAPSE-B demonstrates significantly fewer deadline violations than traditional static inference approaches while providing live analytics and monitoring capabilities.
