Inducing Torpor in Non-hibernating Mammals: A Systematic Review

Jae Ababio is a 3rd Year Bsc (Hons) Biomedical Science student. Their interest for many years has been the field of Space Biology and has undertaken a UNOOSA Space4Women Mentorship and attended the National Student Space Conference 2022 and will be speaking at the 28th Biennial ELGRA Symposium in September. Their dissertation research focuses on how human hibernation can be induced for missions to Mars as a way to alleviate resource, physical and mental challenges associated with such a long journey.
