Incidental Tutorialisation - A DOOM Eternal Custom Level
Built using the Development Kit for DOOM Eternal, this project demonstrates my adaptability and my eagerness to take on new challenges.
Tackling Tutorialisation through gameplay was an effort of regular observation and iteration. with over 30 individual play testers contributing to my understanding of how to improve the experience. With the level seeing changes to it’s layout, enemy types and placement, even down to the timing of the checkpoints.
By the end of the module, over 90% of players correctly identified the mechanic being taught to them.
