Artist/Maker Imogen Richards’ pieces are romantic, abstract and functional. She experiments with intuitive paintings on and with clay. Imogen’s playful, yet considered compositions, marks and palette are dictated by the form and texture of each thrown and altered piece. Her work is inspired by the theatricality and comfort of nature, resulting in other-worldly scenes which balance on the edge of reality.
