I am an MSc Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems graduate with seven years of experience in the energy sector and currently work in the UK as an Electrical Design Engineer. This project investigates smart energy management strategies supporting the UK’s net zero targets using a realistic case study based on operational data. The optimisation model integrates green hydrogen to enable sustainable mobility and energy flexibility through storage and refuelling infrastructure. The study aims to minimise CO₂ emissions while maximising economic profit via energy market trading, reducing reliance on fossil fuels and supporting future low-carbon smart grids.
