Glaze Against Form
I am a ceramic artist exploring glaze as an active and transformative material rather than a decorative finish. My practice investigates the relationship between surface, form, and material behaviour through experimental glazing processes, slip-cast ceramic forms, and digital development methods. Influenced by ideas surrounding material agency and process-led making, I allow glaze to move, pool, crack, and react unpredictably during firing, positioning it as a collaborator within the making process.
