My practice examines the intricate dynamics of masculinity within motorcycle culture, rooted in my own experiences. I work with an airbrush passed down by my grandfather, continuing a family tradition through monochromatic, detailed paintings on both canvas and motorcycles. I intend to express the pressures of masculinity while challenging the stereotypes associated with motorbike riders. These works offer a personal and nuanced perspective on a culture often reduced to rigid conventions, highlighting the emotional complexities and shared humanity of its members. Through this approach, I aim to foster deeper understanding and broaden perceptions on this often misunderstood culture.
