Inspired by the actor Ian McKellen and his character in LOTR, I decided to recreate Gandalf and a few of the frames from the movie.
This is a big project I’ve been working on for the past months as a learning experience. The main goal for this project is to learn realism, an art direction I wish to follow in the future, and develop an eye for detail by creating everything in this scene (apart from the eyes) and detailing everything manually, avoiding the use of outside resources.
Optimisation wasn’t a part of the plan for this project.
