Exploring Reactive Audio & Procedural Music Generation

This project explores Procedural Music Generation within Unreal Engine 5’s MetaSounds system in order to curate a reactive soundscape in the context of a 2D Top-Down Horde Shooter. I’ve created a system in which different aspects of procedural music can be altered and manipulated in real time in order to have the audio react directly to the player’s actions, the game state and the environment that they are in.
