Exploration of Identification Techniques to Locate Covert Camera Devices

I am a final-year Forensic Investigations student at the University of Staffordshire with a keen interest in digital forensics. This project reflects my commitment to addressing emerging privacy threats through practical, evidence-based research. I aim to contribute to the development of accessible tools that aid both investigators and the general public in detecting and mitigating covert surveillance risks.

This study explores non-intrusive methods, such as thermal imaging, torch-based reflection, and smartphone detection, for identifying covert camera devices hidden in everyday environments. It aims to support ethical surveillance practices and enhance personal privacy through awareness.
