I have recently completed my final year as a BSc (Hons) student in Biomedical Science. Towards the latter stages of this year, I have developed a deep interest in the intersection of biology and maths/statistics. This passion was sparked following the completion of an essay regarding AI in medicine, as well as having to conduct a meta-analysis for my final year project. The project was a systematic review and meta-analysis of the anticancer efficacy of exosomes as novel drug delivery vehicles for chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer.
