My artistic practice is strongly influenced by the natural environment and botanical life, as I have always had a strong fascination with different ecosystems, animals and plant species. ‘Evergreen’ embodies my interest in the environment through mixed media sculpture and installation. I utilise natural materials such as plants, soil and raw clay to pursue a more environmentally friendly practice as I hope to establish an emotional connection between humans and the environment through my art pieces.
