In her master project, ‘Digital coiling: challenging perceptions,’ Anny investigates the future of craft in the era of radical change in technology and AI, pushing both her own and other’s perceptions and constraints. Her installation, “Digital Grotto,” comprises over 100 stalactites sculpted in virtual reality and 3D printed with Parian porcelain, a clay selected for its special qualities and sustainability, also the Arthur C. Clarke’s monolith as ‘stargate’, and a figure gazing upon it, dreaming of a better future. The peephole view into a world of light and shadow advocates for a harmonious coexistence with nature, fellow humans, and AI.
