I am a concept art student hoping to specialise in characters, creatures or keyframe illustration. This brief was a demon boss, and I had to create concepts for the first and second phases of this boss. My design was inspired by Ahzrak from Doom: The Dark Ages, Christian demonology, and games similar to Doom. The idea behind this boss is that its face and body would split apart during the second phase of the fight, and it would pull the sword from its chest and use it as its main weapon.
