Through my work, I explore the morbid and unsettling while raising the question as to what it is about horror that makes us so unnerved yet so fascinated.
The majority of my work is mixed media, combining the comforts of slow crafts such as crochet and lacework with existential themes, including death, the body, and the afterlife. Often reminiscent of old horror movie special effects from the 80s/90s, a recurring inspiration within my process.

Sometimes my pieces come from grief, others from questioning, and some I enjoy presenting an element of levity and humanity
