Projects

My current work combines curve and line in a range of 3-dimensional stacked forms to create a family of totem like vessels which reflect a feeling of safety and/or protection.  The vessels fall into two types; the larger more colourful Guardians, which are thrown or slipcast from KGM and the contrasting smaller monochromatic Sentinels, which are slip cast from parian.  The Sentinels are lit from within  – the parian translucency gives a warm glow effect. The Guardians will act as lamp bases to large LED bulbs.
