Projects

My name is Cam Goddard and I am studying a Ceramics MA at Staffordshire University.  I am fascinated by capturing movement in clay, and have been experimenting with textures, clay slips and twisting forms to see if I can crystalise a moment of time in my work.  I love the dichotomy between something once fired that will last forever and the  mark of the maker – a moment in time, reflecting their ephemeral moment on this earth.  So my work is human focused, anti-production, anti-perfection,  and as irregular, diverse and experimental as possible.
