Lucy is a designer, creator and maker. She has worked as an interior designer for over 25 years and more recently she has diversified to create ceramic art. Her practice is intuitively led; she is both an experienced designer and a talented multi-skilled ceramicist

She embraces form, scale, colour and texture, creating contemporary sculptural forms, researching and applying experimental glazing techniques. Materiality plays a key part in her practice; she uses a variety of ceramic processes to create aesthetically complex ceramic sculptures and vessels

Lucy’s work transcends the space between gallery and home, creating a juxtaposition between art and interior.
