My project is based on wildlife, as that is one of my main passions as a vegan and have been volunteering at wildlife sanctuaries. The focus is to investigate whether or not deer species can be identified using their hair alone. Hair is one of the most common pieces of evidence found at a crime scene and so using hair morphology may be a quicker and easier way to identify a species that more labs may be able to use.
