I am Jonah Ford, currently I am working in my third year of my degree in MSci Forensic Science and my dissertation was to study: Analysis of Paint for Individualisation.

In this project five paint samples were analysed differing based on manufacturer with the colour and type of paint remaining the same, to see if any conclusion can be drawn between the different samples whether that be similarities or differences. The aim of this report is to find any patterns between the paints based on the results gained from these four analytical apparatuses: FTIR Spectroscopy, TGA, Raman Spectroscopy and VSC.
