I am a student completing my final year with an ambition to progress my career into football coaching. My aims are to continue on the FA coaching ladder (currently level 1 qualified) whilst building up experience within the industry. I currently have experience coaching both grassroots and pre-grassroots participation level. I decided to focus my final year project on grassroots football due to both the lack of current research and the benefits it could provide me as a coach. The project aims to serve as a means of understanding the why behind grassroots football participation.
