AI Sentiment Analysis with Grounded Summarisation for Pharma Literature
This project is about creating a RAG-based system to help users understand antidepressant safety information more clearly. Instead of relying on a normal chatbot that might give unsupported answers, the system first retrieves evidence from trusted sources like PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov, then uses that evidence to generate summaries. It also shows citations so users can trace where the information came from, and includes sentiment analysis to show whether the evidence is mainly positive, negative or neutral. Overall, the project aims to make AI-generated medical summaries more transparent, reliable and useful for students, researchers and people reviewing antidepressant safety literature.
