Introduction
My name’s Akhil and I specialise in the field of 3D Environment Art. Graduating from my games course, I’m looking to showcase my final year project and open the door to various opportunities in the games industry.
What’s my project about?
Inspired by games like Life is Strange and Gone Home, this project recreates a 1990s bedroom belonging to an Asian-British teenager. Behind the vibrant purple/orange hues and stylised god rays, there’s an intentional focus on evoking nostalgia. I utilised semiotic theory and spatial design to create an environment that was both authentic and emotionally resonant.
