Fight Dummies: A Prototype for a Third Person Shooter Active Ragdoll Game
How do you do! I’m Nathan, a student Unreal developer.
For this project, I wanted to develop an active-ragdolling system within Unreal, then incorporate it within a wacky, physics-based Third-Person Shooter framework. My reason for choosing this genre is chiefly because I wanted to see it used in a setting beyond the usual puzzle-platformer!
I learned a lot from researching and applying techniques seen in previous examples of active ragdolling games, such as Human Fall Flat, and it was a ton of fun figuring out how to design and implement gameplay around this feature that pushes the wacky physics!

Type of employment sought
I specialise mainly in mechanics and gameplay design and implementation, with a strong skillset in visual scripting and AI behaviour trees. I would be very happy in a role that lets me get stuck into the tech side of game design, implementing systems and mechanics and making them feel good to play!
Areas available to work
Chiefly London or the South East but anywhere in the UK
