I am Marina and I have been working with children with special needs and autism in the context of fun art and craft activities for around one year and a half. Throughout my professional experience, I got the opportunity to meet and support parents of children with additional needs. My project aimed to explore fathers experiences in the context of an autism diagnosis because fathers tend to be underrepresented in literature. It was a great journey in which I developed skills, an understanding of this topic and I got the opportunity to shed a light on fathers lived experiences.
